Julie Eble, Ph.D., CEO, founded Critical Path Services, LLC (CPS), in April 2001 to offer analytical/bioanalytical services, toxicology and classification consulting, and technical-writing support to the regulated scientific community.
The 70-person company includes a trace-level laboratory at CPS, offering LC-MS/MS and ELISA analysis of large and small molecules in a variety of matrices. The non-laboratory wing of CPS provides toxicology and classification services as well as writing, sample management, and other dossier services.
Julie has been actively involved in the CPS biologics research effort as well in consulting with clients on a variety of scientific issues. These clients include Fortune 500 companies, start-up companies, and international task forces.
Prior to founding CPS, Julie managed projects for DuPont Crop Protection. Her efforts ranged from planning and implementing a business re-engineering to launching a worldwide program for project-management competency. She also acted as the Research Manager for a group accountable for tactical planning, resource management, and contracting technical studies aimed towards the successful development and registration of agrichemicals worldwide. Julie functioned as a Study Director, Sponsor Representative, and Analytical Coordinator for GLP studies in the areas of environmental fate, ecotoxicology, and residue chemistry. She also developed numerous analytical methods using HPLC and GC techniques.
Prior to her employment with DuPont Crop Protection, Julie conducted HPLC research at DuPont's Biomedical Product Chromatography Application Group, and developed methods and conducted stability and purity tests at Wyeth Laboratories.
Julie holds an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Villanova University where she studied under Drs. Lloyd Snyder and Robert Grob.
